How does eworkflow differ from other editorial submission systems?
Eworkflow uses artificial intelligence and best in class user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to engage stakeholders and provide a cutting edge service to publishers, editors, reviewers and authors.
Can publishers see a demo before they purchase?
Yes, publishers can get a demo delivered by one of our experts to show how Eworkflow can deliver for their organisation at scale.
How much does eworkflow cost?
Cost for a licence to use eworkflow is variable and depends on a number of factors including number of submissions.
How secure is eworkflow?
We offer access via https as well as username and password restricted access for individual users. All files are scanned for viruses and malware.
How often is Eworkflow upgraded?
Eworkflow participates in agile development processes and a CI/CD release model. Regular updates are made from our development servers to our production and live environment servers on a regular basis – when fully tested and ready. We respond as fast as we can to user feedback and continually improve the service we provide to end users.
Is Eworkflow compliant with GDPR and the data protection act? What happens in a data breach?
Yes, we are compliant with both. Under GDPR, users must be promptly notified of any data breach. Should a personal data breach be detected in Eworkflow, our Client Services team will notify publishers as soon as possible. Subsequently, Publishers are responsible for notifying affected users and the appropriate authorities.
Who owns the content and data stored within Eworkflow
All publishers sign a software licence agreement. This states that all the content submitted to one of their journals, belongs to the Publisher, not Eworkflow.
What are the minimum requirements for running Eworkflow?
Users who need access Eworkflow need to use a current web browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, etc) with an internet connection and a PDF reader. Computers can be Windows, Apple or Linux based.
What file formats are accepted by Eworkflow?
We accept a wide range of file formats including docx, PDF, JPEG, PNG, excel, etc
How can users locate a particular journal?
On the eworkflow home page, users can browse our journals list and also search for a particular journal.
Will training be provided?
The Eworkflow team can provide training to your staff and Editors to help your transition from another system. We will support you in line with your requirements.
Do users need to create an account for each journal?
Users can register on the journal page and be added as an author and reviewer. If a publisher rosters them as an Editor, they will then get Editor privileges as well. Users can access other journals, by registering their account on their page, the journal will then show up when they login.
